CJHL announces its 3 Stars of the Month for November – Fuelled by Gatorade

TORONTO – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Thursday that Maxwell Pendy, (F) Bonnyville Pontiacs (AJHL); Austin Dubinsky, (G) Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL) and Nolan Newton, (F) Greater Sudbury Cubs (NOJHL) have been named its 3 Stars of the Month – Fuelled by Gatorade, for November.

 


2nd Star:  – Austin Dubinsky, (G) Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL) – A solid November saw the netminder of the No. 1 CJHL-ranked Nighthawks go unbeaten.

Hailing from Ardrossan, Alta., the 20-year-old netminder went 6-0-0-0 for Niverville while registering a sharp 1.33 goals-against average, along with an equally stingy .952 save percentage and posting one shutout. In all, Dubinsky only allowed eight pucks to get past him in 360 minutes of action, in stopping 159 of the 167 shots fired his way.

Dubinsky currently leads all MJHL goalkeepers in wins (18) and sits third overall in his league in GAA (2.02) and second in SV% (.938).
